I grew up in Columbus, Ohio and moved to Portland, Oregon to attend Reed College. I graduated in January 2004. I'm currently working as a research assistant in a lab at Oregon Health and Science University studying chromatin structure. I'm applying to graduate school for a Master's degree in landscape architecture. I'm an avid cyclist, I speak German, I like kites, backpacking and community gardens. I'm a recent convert to Flying Spaghetti Monsterism.
