Hello, I discovered Wikipedia a while back and created an account, and it took me a while to finaly make up my user page. Do I hear applause? Oh I guess not. Oh well.

About me

I am a political conservative classical liberal. If these terms seem contradictory pull up the links, and go back or take a class in traditional political theory. I hold a degree in History and Political Science from a conservative Christian college. My favorite points of history are early civilization, the great empires, British History between Henry VIII and the rise of Oliver Cromwell and the turn of the last century in the United States History between the end of reconstruction until about the begining of World War I sometimes called the Gilded Age that saw the massive expansion of the western rail roads, industrialization and the like. I also enjoy a reading about the Protestant Reformation, but that may have a little more to do with Church History than main stream history. Why the disparity, I don't know. As for Political Science, I studied this as my minor probably because I wanted to be able to tell heads and tails of what is going on in Washington, and because I needed a minor to graduate. That said, I enjoy both subjects, and don't mind written debate on either.

Foreign Languages

I also grew up in Thailand and have a working knowledge of Thai, Laotian and grew up speaking a minor dialect of the Lao Language called Nyaw.

Thai (Pyi Nia, Tum alyi, Taun ahaun laew yung)

Laotian (Pyi sie, Het yung, Gin kaw laew bau)

Nyaw (Pyi galer, Het dur, Gin kaw laew aww)

How can I help

If you find that there are articles that you feel my imput would be beneficial, please post them on my talk page. Wikipedia is a vast forum and I can't possibly know what all is out there.

Also feel free to leave comments on my talk page if you think you can be constructive.
