- Minnesota Historical Society main Flickr account This is more hit and miss but many photos can still be found under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 2.0 Generic license.
- Minnesota Local History & State Historic Preservation Office Most images are under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 2.0 Generic.
- Minnesota State Capitol Most images are under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 2.0 Generic license.
- Split Rock Lighthouse Check licensing carefully - some under Creative Commons, but most are copyrighted.
- Mill City Museum As of this time, most images are under copyright
