My name is መርሃዊ and I was born in Berkeley, California, USA in 1983. I have lived in Berkeley and Pinole, California, USA as well as Fort Collins, Colorado, USA.
Tigrinya was my first language (taught to me by my grandmother) but I lost it when I started school. Now my primary language is English. I have begun learning Mandarin Chinese as well as Standard Arabic and Italian. I learned Spanish (Spain) in both middle school and high school.
I am interested in subjects varying from Development Economics, to Structural Engineering, but my primary interest is my home country, Eritrea. It is my personal goal to improve the information already available on Wikipedia related to Eritrea, and expand it further. I feel that though not intentionally neglected, its bright history, present and future must be told to others. At the very least to impress upon people that we are not Ethiopians, we have our own identity, as Eritreans.

This is a collection of the pages that I have worked on. I used to have a bunch of info on the pages that I worked on, created and improved upon...but lets just say that was irritating to maintain. So what you can do instead is just check out Wikipedia: WikiProject Eritrea and you will pretty much be kept up to date! :)
