General

Nobrook seems to have left... his last edit was in November 2010...
de:Werner Stürenburg
The Women of Algiers
de:Victor Ganz
de:Albert Kuhn
  • Weingut II, aka Project Ringeltaube
  • Canadian Art Club - looking over some of my older articles, found that this page has been seriously screwed up. Not happy.
  • Floyd Kuptana - yes, his imagery is grotesque and he is a druggie. Someone has whitewashed this article...
  • Correct Hofmannsthal; it should be a disambig in its own right rather than redirecting where it does
  • de:Quempas
  • de:Der Morgenstern ist aufgedrungen
  • de:Puer natus in Bethlehem
  • Historicism (art) - compare with German article...
  • Jerusalem the Emanation of the Giant Albion - completely unreferenced; badly needs improvement, and I'd really like to do more Blake-related editing.
  • A Poison Tree - too many of the articles on the Songs of Innocence and Experience poems are junky little middle school essays rather than proper articles... The Tyger is just sad...
  • Well done, Bot (Claps)
  • Pre-Columbian art of Central America - the "Intermediate area"
  • Viktor Oliva - needs a total re-write
  • de:Surimono
  • Martin Schongauer needs citations, additional information
  • I Saw the Figure Five in Gold - evidently FU in US, only thing to do is give it its own article
  • de:Münchner Secession
  • Sky art - see Otto Piene
  • Konrad Witz needs improvement...
  • Expand Heinrich Vogeler
  • de:Heller-Altar
  • de:Trias Romanas
  • it:Adorazione dei Magi (Dürer)
  • Rembrandt paintings: Descent from the Cross and Suzanna and the Elders. Also Abraham and Isaac - important part of that painting is Rembrandt shows the knife in midair, after he's dropped it.
  • Leo Gestel
  • de:Erster Deutscher Herbstsalon
  • Islamic artists on the Grove- we have huge gaps in biographies for that area.
  • Very useful site on Islamic ceramics
  • Monforte Altarpiece
  • Unter den Linden (poem)
  • Ife bronzes
  • Art and morality - important topic that needs expansion...
  • Julius Langbehn - current article does not do justice to his special degree of batshit craziness
  • Nazi subterranea - see de:U-Verlagerung, also de:Decknamen nationalsozialistischer Geheimobjekte
  • de:Geheimes Deutschland
  • German Expressionism - woeful page... currently contains no information on either Die Brücke or Der Blaue Reiter... Expressionism could use a rework too...
  • List of art historians - so we have List of Slovenian art historians but not this? Use de:Liste bekannter Kunsthistoriker, as well as the French article, as a basis.
  • Montien Boonma
  • Geoffrey Clarke (picked up from Henry Moore)
  • The Rock Drill - another important work of early modernism...
  • Upload me! Oh, Symbolism! Meanwhile, in Japan...
  • Crypto-fascism - some to translate on the history of the term...
  • Perhaps make commons categories for some of Blake's mythological figures - at least the more easily recognized ones, like Satan, Urizen, Los, God the father, Christ, etc. Would be helpful for people just broaching his mythology... Tho often it's unclear... This for example is an obvious Urizenic figure (Nobodaddy) but probably not Urizen per se...
  • The Book of Urizen - needs more details about different versions...
  • de:Lüftlmalerei
  • Germans - needs a section on art
  • Eugen Schönebeck - and most of the others redlinked at Anselm Kiefer
  • List of engravers - so we have List of French engravers but not this...
  • Otto Mueller - new user heavily editing this page, needs a large amount of cleanup
  • de:Galerie Schmela - site of How to Explain Pictures to a Dead Hare (which needs some editing too)
  • Frederick III, Elector of Saxony - important German historical figure...
  • William Blake's mythology - needs clarification
  • Tilted Arc - so much more to say here
  • Austria - section on Art and architecture needs to be more than just a list of names. Or maybe even Austrian art - wow that article is a bear...
  • Ferdinand Georg Waldmüller -references needed
  • de:Wally Neuzil - and work on Schiele in general...
  • de:Carl Reininghaus - maybe?
  • de:Arthur Roessler - definitely. Check the ÖBL...
  • Adolf Hölzel - references needed
  • Josef Danhauser - train wreck translation
  • Rudolf von Alt - references needed
  • de:Heinrich Tischler - maybe
  • de:Ludwig Heinrich Jungnickel - maybe
  • de:Neukunstgruppe - probably
  • de:Die Fackel - definitely
  • Horst Antes - add refs, deal with BS tags
  • de:Todesfuge - plenty to translate...
  • Eggshell pottery - see Longshan culture. In looking through articles on ceramics in general there seems to be inordinate focus on porcelain as opposed to more functional, popular wares... probably an artifact of export and collecting. But many wares given as exclusively porcelain were stoneware as well... etc. Also, Japanese ceramics and Korean ceramics should be the article titles, not "pottery and porcelain". I really don't care about the semantic issues in their languages - these are the proper terms in Western art historiography and it is not our role to go around inventing titles... especially as "porcelain" is a type of "pottery" - so "porcelain and pottery" is absurd...
  • Pottery firing should not redirect where it does. The section on firing in Pottery could also use improvement...
  • Henry Valensi
  • List of art collectors - maybe
  • Important: remove all links to sites that reproduce Grove entries per WP:Linkvio
  • Disambiguate Neger
  • de:Agnes Dürer
  • Horns - needs a section on symbolism. The Devil in Christian art would be another interesting topic...
  • de:Johannes Grützke
  • The template being used for African art (see Benin art, for example) is horribly inappropriate... nationality is not the way to approach this...
  • Neoclassicism - another train wreck
  • Vanessa Beecroft - cleanup
  • The Creation of Adam - do we really need the Simpsons here...
  • Woman with a Pearl Necklace - new editor editing this article, needs help and soon... but not tonight...
  • Fix the various "Keys of/to the Kingdom" redirects and disambigs...
  • Japanese art - proofread
    • es:Daisenryō-Kofun
  • The Pioneers (novel) has recently been heavily edited by IPs, looks like a mess
  • Persian pottery - an article that isn't a copyvio...
  • Roland Klick
  • Deadlock (1970 film)
  • Roger Fritz
  • Some Munich locations - Nordfriedhof, Führerbau, etc. These have been stubbed by someone else but are still just one-liners.
  • Charlotte Posenenske
  • More works by Joseph Beuys; see de:Kategorie:Joseph Beuys
  • More works by Caspar David Friedrich, see de:Kategorie:Gemälde von Caspar David Friedrich
  • Karl Friedrich Schinkel needs improvement
  • de:Joachim Heinrich Wilhelm Wagener
  • de:Ferdinand von Schirach - in progress
  • de:Judith Schalansky
  • Make a nav template for Ancient Greek / Classical architecture
  • Annunciation (El Greco)
  • Nicola Hicks - needs help, has been taken over by a representative of the artist
  • Hu (vessel) has been vastly but unevenly expanded; need to salvage some of the old material, check for copyvios, and generally clean up the piece
