Welcome to WikiProject Women Philosophers, a WikiProject dedicated to ensuring quality and coverage of biographies of women philosophers. Unfortunately, part of Wikipedia's systemic bias is that women in philosophy are woefully underrepresented. Let's change that!

Since biographies are potentially under the purview of almost all WikiProjects, it is important that we work in tandem with these projects. Also, when seeking collaboration on articles, don't neglect to approach WikiProjects that are part of the geographical region your subject is/was in.

Increase the exposure of our work group by nominating our articles for their Portal FA and DYKs... Specific regional/country portals are listed in that section.

•  Philosophy portal

• Tag the talk pages of relevant articles with the {{WPWP}} banner so they can be automatically added to Category:WikiProject Women philosophers.
• Assess already tagged pages. See this page for a prioritized list of unassessed articles.
• Improve categorization of articles (see the category tree).
• Follow recent changes in articles on women philosophers and revert any vandalism.
• Choose someone from the list of notable women without articles and write an article about her.
