Tyson Hesse is an American graphic novel illustrator and animator, best known for his work on the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series from Archie Comics, and for his webcomic and graphic novel series, Diesel. A longtime fan of the Sonic series, Hesse has also directed animated cutscenes for the critically-acclaimed platform video game, Sonic Mania.^[1] Hesse is the creator of the webcomic, Diesel, and serves as writer and artist for the webcomic's follow-up graphic novel, Diesel: Ignition.^[2]

Hesse has also contributed art to Dream Daddy and The Amazing World of Gumball.^[3]^[4]
