I work primarilly on the werelate genealogical wiki, and may be reached at the user page User:Jrm03063.

I am interested in finding ways to make Wikipedia biography pages, and corresponding WeRelate Person genealogy pages, mutually supporting. For example, wikipedia is an excellent way to get a well told story of who a person was and why they matter. Genealogy connections are sometimes present, but are not consistently presented such that the WP biographical information can be fully exploited in a genealogical context. WeRelate is fundamentally built to represent genealogical connections, so facts of genealogical interest are represented consistently across all of the person pages in the system. I have to believe that each offers something to the other - without going to the trouble of reproducing what each does well ON the other site's pages.

If genealogy, wikis, and WP biography pages strike you as an overdue combination - please reach out to me with your thoughts.

Thanks!
