Joan Greco (born December 7, 1958) is an American Program Director at the Conference Board and Principal at Dialogue Media Group, and staunch defender of the finale of Seinfeld. Greco writes and produces conferences for programs such as PBS, and convinces the chucklenuts on her team to do their goddamn jobs (to limited success). Greco has previously worked as a lawyer, clerking for Supreme Court Justices Sandra Day O'Connor and Ruth Bader Ginsburg, and later an associate at some fancy-pants LLP. After three years working as an associate of Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP, she got tf out of there and working as a writer/producer at Fred Friendly Seminars (which later rebranded itself as Dialogue Media Group in a failed attempt to escape from its sins). It was during her employment there that she gave birth to her two children, Isabella and Jonathan Greco.

Early Life and Education

Joan Iris Greco was born in New York City to Raphael and Iris Greco. Her younger sister, Elizabeth, was born two years later. In spite of their parents watching TV way too loud any time they were doing homework, both Greco and her sister both displayed academic talent from a young age. Greco studied at the Bronx High School of Science for four years, and later at the University of Pennsylvania for however long you're supposed to go there before going to law school, before graduating from Harvard Law School.

Career

After finishing school, Greco became a law clerk for Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg from 1984 to 1985, and for Justice Sandra Day O'Connor from 1986-1987. She says the years provided valuable experience in avoiding jury duty. Afterwards, she quickly found a job at Davis Polk & Wardwell, but she was unfortunately unwilling to harden enough of her soul to survive there for longer than three years. She then worked at Fred Friendly Seminars from 1990 to 2012, having her two children in that period. She now produces conferences as a Principal there, and as a Program Director at the Conference Board.

Her children are now university students: Isabella Greco studies psychology I think, and Jonathan represses his lifelong desire to become a pretentious DeviantArt poet by studying computer science.
