I am employed as a software developer by the Democratic Alliance.

I am an employee of the Democratic Alliance. My position is technical and does not involve political activity or public relations. Nonetheless, I recuse myself from editing all articles in Category:Democratic Alliance (South Africa), articles on other current South African political parties, and articles on contemporary South African party politics in general. I note certain exceptions to this recusal:

• Removing spam, reverting obvious vandalism, and correcting spelling and grammatical errors, which are all noted at WP:COIU as non-controversial edits.
• Uploading election result maps, such as those in commons:Category:2014 South African general election maps.
• Generating election result tables, such as those that can be seen at South African general election, 2014#Results.

Please point it out to me if I inadvertently break these restrictions.
