Ålgård Station (Norwegian: Ålgård stasjon) is a former railway station located in Ålgård, Norway. It served as the terminus of the 12.24-kilometre (7.61 mi) long Ålgård Line from 21 September 1924 to 1 November 1955. The station building was designed by architect R. Werenskiold and was built in wooden Nordic classicist style.

History

The origins of the Ålgård Line dates back to 1873, when county engineer Th. Sejersted proposed that the line from Stavanger to Kristiania should run through Sandnes and Ålgård before reaching Høgsfjord in Rogaland.
