Evi Hanssen (born 9 november 1978 in Zoersel)[citation needed] is Flemish singer and television presenter in Belgium.

Life and Career

Hanssen was raised with her three older brothers near Antwerp. She started as a background singer in the Samson and Gert-Christmas shows, and she played in Samson and Gert on her 16th Sofie, the niece of the mayor. Hanssen was second in the election of "Look of the Year" in 1996. After high school she studied two years at the Jazz Studio in Antwerp and obtained her candidacy as a singer in jazz music at the conservatory.

In April 2001, Hanssen began to work as a VJ on MTV Flanders, where, together with Elke Vanelderen presented "Boobietrap". She also presented a number of major festivals, such Marktrock, Suikerrock, TW Classic, I Love Techno. She interviewed among others, Lenny Kravitz and Justin Timberlake. In the summer of 2002 she was asked to replace Yasmine At table, TV1 program. She was also a regular on the Swingpaleis.

She was told when flying reporter at Radio Donna stands and can be seen on the sports channel of the VRT Sporza. For the film Garfield lent her voice to the American cat. Hanssen currently works for VTM, where they "The Farm" and "71 ° North".

In the autumn of 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012 presented Hanssen Expedition Robinson. Since March 2007, Hanssen also appeared in The Wrong Quiz and thank God. Hanssen married in September 2005 to Fred di Bono, punk musician and frontman of the Belgian band Silverene.[citation needed] She also founded the production company together Bonhanssa on. Later they got two children.[citation needed] In 2011, the couple divorced.[citation needed]

Hanssen's band, UMA, released her first full album, Polaroid, in late 2011.

Hanssen is seen in the video "I think you like", the Hague band The Crows.
