Adding a WikiProject Instructions
This tool compiles lists of articles that have already been allocated to a WikiProject and have been tagged as a Unreferenced Biography of Living People. There are two options to use this tool. Please check to see if your project is already listed either here or here before you add it to the lists.
If all of this makes no sense to you, then please post a message here or on your project's talk page, and someone will assist.
Template method
- Determine the template that is used to allocate articles to your project. This is normally listed on your main project page, or you can get it from the talk page of an article which has been allocated to your project.
- This method will not work if you are wanting to make a list from a subproject which uses a parameter in another template, such as sports-group=yes in the WP Biography template. For these projects you will need to use one of the other methods.
- Conversely, if the Category:WikiProject XYZ articles category for your project only contains subcategories, and no articles, then you should use this method.
- Then add the following text to the list on User:DASHBot/Wikiprojects/Templates.
- {{User:DASHBot/WPTemplate|Your wikiproject template which is placed on article talk pages|Page where you want the bot to put the list}}
- Example: {{User:DASHBot/WPTemplate|WikiProject Anime and manga|Wikipedia:WikiProject Anime and manga/Unreferenced BLPs}}
Category method
- If the Category:WikiProject XYZ articles category for your project contains all of your articles, not just a few subcategories then you can add the following text to the list on User:DASHBot/Wikiprojects
- {{User:DASHBot/Wikiproject|Your wikiproject category which lists article talk pages|Page where you want the bot to put the list}}
- Example: {{User:DASHBot/Wikiproject|WikiProject Australia articles|Wikipedia:WikiProject Australia/DashBot unreferenced BLPs}}
Opting out Instructions
To opt out of User:DASHBot future updates on your WikiProject, please remove your WikiProject from the list here(for category based) or here(for template based). Then please add your WikiProject to the list below.
