Leigh Sembaluk (born 2 November 1985 in Regina, Saskatchewan is a Canadian soccer player. He is currently a defender with the Rochester Rhinos who signed him as a free agent on 8 January[1]. He has been a part of the National Training Centre Praries team in Edmonton, Alberta in 2002 and 2003.
He played his college career at SFU where he studied Criminology.
His high school soccer was played at LeBolus H.S. and in 2002 helped his team win the City Championship and earn a Provincial Bronze Medal. In 2001 he made it to the City Finals and in 2000 the team won the City and Provincial Championships. He has been named team MVP for 2002, 2001 and 2000. In 1999, his first year, he was a member of the varsity team.
COLLEGE CAREER (Simon Fraser University): 2007: Led SFU defense to 16 clean sheets en route to an NAIA Final Four appearance. 2006: Red shirted with a knee injury. 2005: Named to NAIA Region I All-Star Team... NAIA All-American Honorable Mention... Led SFU to Region I Finals. 2004: Led SFU to Region I Semifianals. 2003: Led SFU to Region I Championship.
