I'm a Californian with an MSW and a law degree and I work for a not-for-profit focused on providing family services. I like to research and write, but I admit that Wikipedia's rules about writing and referencing are a bit daunting for me, and in many cases not what I learned in school. So please bear with me and feel free to coach me! I'm at least trying to make sure what I write is readable for someone who reads English as a second language (5 cent words rather than 50 cent words, sentences less than 25 words), and if the format of the references I create aren't perfect, I'm trying to at least make sure that the reader can easily find the reference.
