Sam Karagiozis is a Greek Australian Entrepreneur and Bitcoin Trader.

Sam Karagiozis was born in Melbourne, Australia. He is a Greek-Australian with proud cultural heritage. Sam’s mother was born in Greece and moved to Australia at the age of six. Sams father was born in Australia, travelling back to Greece in the late 80’s to complete his Military service.

As a child, Sam saw first-hand the ramifications of financial difficulties as Sam and his family struggled significantly with their finances. At the age of 11, you would find Sam at the Sunday market on most weekends where he would be selling items from around his family home. Sam later found an opportunity to sell DVDs to turn over a small profit. These events in Sam’s life are the foundations of his entrepreneur mindset.

At the age of 15, Sam left school and sought full-time employment at McDonalds. Sam knew that this was a good opportunity for him to learn valuable skills and business ideology, which he appreciated.

At the same time, Sam had developed a passion for his weight training. Sam would often travel 2 hours return to buy protein powder from the Melbourne CBD and sell them to other employees at McDonalds. The purpose of this was to cover the cost of Sam’s supplements which allowed him to train and also meant more of his weekly earnings from McDonald’s could be saved.

At the age of 16, Sam moved out of home and Sam’s first official business venture began – Hellas Nutrition was formed.

At the age of 18, Sam revamped the Supplement Business and Ausbodybuilding Supplements was born. This was a key move for Sam’s growth in the business world and a real foot in the door. During this period, Sam also commenced working in the security industry, all whilst maintaining his full-time employment at McDonalds. From the ages of 18-24, Sam’s average work week would consist of 80-90 hours.

In 2014, Sam took a big hit which would ultimately change his life forever. Sam worked relentlessly to provide a better life for two of his family members and he found himself in the middle of a custody battle. Whilst trying to fight for the safety and protection of these two individuals, Sam sacrificed everything he had. The toll was so great that Sam was eventually forced to create a GoFundMe page to raise the necessary funds to continue the custody battle. Everything Sam had no longer mattered and he gave all of it up during his fight, eventually hitting rock bottom all over again. This was undoubtedly one of the most significant, heart wrenching moments of Sam’s life, and it’s also the biggest motivator as to why Sam strived to become the man he is today

Fast forward three years and Sam has used the adversity he has endured, all of the lessons he has learnt from life, and combined this with his relentless work ethic and passions to build the empire that you see today. It has not be without struggle, but the struggle has certainly been worth it.

Sam now works out of an Office in Doncaster with a team of 10 employees.
