Goals

Improve Wikipedia's coverage of African history.
Improve African history-related articles, making them more informative and better written.
Create guidelines for articles about items related to African history.

Open tasks

Improve collaboration of the month article: Wikipedia:WikiProject African history/Collaboration/Current.
Work on articles needing work.
Assess the unassessed African history articles as Stub, Start, B-Class, etc. More on assessment here.
Tag all African history-relevant articles with {{Afrohist|class=|importance=}} and an assessment.
Invite more users to join.
Create all yet-uncreated templates.

Scope

The project covers all articles about people, places, things, and events associated with the history of Africa. These articles should all be included in the Category:History of Africa or one of its subcategories.
