The template duplicates the existing classification deities-gods-goddesses, a classification that does not make much sense. Therefore, I have changed deities to Classic deities and gods to Post-Classic deities, with which the gods and deities included nearly happen to overlap. Goddesses are found in both categories, so that a separate class of 'goddesses' is disputable. It might, however, serve the reader to create a class of Popol Vuh deities.Retal (talk) 17:16, 5 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Queens but no kings?

The template at the moment has a section for queens but not a hint that Maya kings existed, and in fact were more common as rulers than queens. See, for example, the articles on Tikal, Copán etc with their extensive king lists. Simon Burchell (talk) 09:53, 24 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Lady K'abel

I believe that Lady K'abel should be added to the list of queens. She bore the title Kaloomte' and seems to have been ranked higher than her husband. CRYPTNYMPH (talk) 21:07, 27 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
