Scope

Does this template only include major languages? If it's meant to be exhaustive, I'd expect to see entries for Konyak language or Phom language, among others. Uanfala (talk) 19:08, 10 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

it can include more languages I just listed the ones I could find, feel free to add to it. — Abrahamic Faiths (talk) 23:40, 10 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I see. I might try to have a go if I happen to have free time in the future. If you happen to get bored, you might use the articles in Category:Languages of Northeast India. Not sure if even that is exhaustive, but it contains about 150 languages. It seems to me that this is a bit too much for a single template. Uanfala (talk) 23:53, 10 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
OK, I began the template with that category, but havent gotten to all the sub categories yet, for example I haven't included the Kukish languages yet because I still have to sort through them because some are in India, some are in Myanmar, some are in both, Ill probably get them over the next few days. — Abrahamic Faiths (talk) 00:05, 11 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I finished including all the ones I could find, I searched high and low through some other existing templates and categories to try and find remaining ones, there are probably still some ones I missed but the bulk should now be in, the list is now a tad bit long but I have seen much bigger templates, if need be though I can split it into eight new templates, one per state, though I personally think it should stay as one simply because many of these appear more than once and might lead to template cluttering at the bottom of pages, let me know though if you think I should or if it should stay as is, also let me know if you found any others I missed or if I made any categorization mistakes. — Abrahamic Faiths (talk) 17:37, 11 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Well done! Looks very neat and detailed and I think it's just the right size. Uanfala (talk) 18:08, 11 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
