Missing overpasses (QLN-TVC)
Hi I see at least three overpasses missing from this template. These are:
Kaniyapuram-KINFRA Overpass NH overpass at Chackai Pettah overpass at Pettah station
I'm not sure how to edit the template in order to add these.
Trunk line?
Dear @Arunvrparavur, could u show some reliable sources here justifying the move you made? Else, kindly restore to the original title as it was or as "Kollam–Thiruvananthapuram Central line". --βα£α(ᶀᶅᶖᵵᵶ) 01:04, 6 June 2017 (UTC)
- Hi βα£α, thank you for the message. I've read in several news papers that Shornur-Kochi, Kollam–Thiruvananthapuram etc are the main railway lines through Kerala state. If we categorize these lines as branch lines/ spur lines, then which are the trunk lines comes under Southern Railways?? I've no idea. --- Arunvrparavur (talk) 07:01, 6 June 2017 (UTC)
- @Arunvrparavur, even i too heard such things for some railway lines in Tamil Nadu. But as of my knowledge, trunk lines are one which connect two different cities located very far geographically and from which the branch lines and spur lines emerge. But these are labelled as trunk line just before WW I connecting big cities with ports in terms of logistics and economy aspects. But later such name faded off except for a few. But all these constitute as original research, which we should vehemently avoid and stick on to verifiable resources. So my search in newspapers and books don't find the mentioning of "Kollam–Thiruvananthapuram railway line" as "trunk line". A 65km-line would never be widely called as trunk line, IMO. If so, such lines would be atleast 100km or 150km-plus in distance. If you still believe so, dig harder and come up with a valid source. Thanks.--βα£α(ᶀᶅᶖᵵᵶ) 18:28, 6 June 2017 (UTC)
