Asterisks?

Several of the names are followed by asterisks, but there's no indication as to what this is meant to indicate... --Jfruh (talk) 16:08, 25 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Acting presidents.

Please stop adding them to this. Every time the president and VP leaves the country an acting president takes over. The 1st page of a Google search shows

  • 1998 Buthelezi
  • 2003 Zola Skweyiya
  • 2004 Trevor Manuel
  • 2004 Mlambo-Ngcuka
  • 2005 Matsepe-Casaburri. -- Jeandré, 2009-04-22t09:12z

Large icons

we should remove some of the icons per MOS:ICON. currently the vertical size of the template is severely stretched. Frietjes (talk) 16:13, 3 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The first three coats of arms are extremely similar in design, perhaps the two earlier ones could go? DrKiernan (talk) 16:34, 3 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
remove as many as possible, as they are purely decorative and provide no added navigation. extended use of flags and coats of arms should be in an article discussing the history of these symbols, not in a navigation box. Frietjes (talk) 16:40, 3 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
