Since Iraqi Kurdistan is a sub entity of Iraq and has a total of 4 article links, I think it would be merge the templates. -- Cat ^chi? 07:32, 31 July 2007 (UTC)

Close discussion as keep. Template:Governorates of Iraqi Kurdistan has been expanded significantly (by a factor of 7) since the beginning of the nomination, and has evolved in another direction from Template:Governorates of Iraq. It also has been renamed to Template:Iraqi Kurdistan, in accordance with the diverging evelopment of this template. Debresser (talk) 23:18, 24 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
