Notes

as far as attractions, does anyone think we should list the arena district and the brewery district themselves as attractions? They both have lots of bars, clubs, and restaurants. Just a thought.

Also, there is the Santa Maria replica ship..

does anyone think Grandview should be listed as a neighborhood ? WacoJacko (talk) 20:58, 13 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Template:Columbus → Template:Columbus, Ohio – This name is too ambiguous - to me, and probably many other Wikipedians, an undisambiguated "Columbus" is Christopher Columbus, not the capital of Ohio. עוד מישהו Od Mishehu 14:33, 18 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support 100%. There is no WP:PRIMARYTOPIC for Columbus and if there was it would be Christopher Columbus. Zarcadia (talk) 17:09, 18 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Strong support per nom. This should be used for Cristobol if it is used for anything. -- 67.70.35.44 (talk) 04:55, 19 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. Way too many possible meanings for "Columbus", even in the mind of this editor who grew up in the Columbus OH media market. Nyttend (talk) 07:22, 20 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I think the solution might be to create templates like Template:History of Columbus, Ohio and the like. There is already Template:Columbus, Ohio High Schools and Template:Education in Franklin County, Ohio and that could be expanded too. WhisperToMe (talk) 03:51, 19 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I'm working on it, though almost entirely alone. I want to create articles on major city events like the 1910 streetcar strike, 1913 flood, and Ohio State riots, which are equally important to the city's history. I just feel like listing one single historical event (current event) seems improper. ɱ (talk) 03:54, 19 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
 Done – I created Template:History of Columbus, Ohio, split from this template. – wbm1058 (talk) 16:40, 31 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
