While both are worthy subjects, there is nothing to split here. It is not an encyclopedia article.

• It is an undergraduate (possibly high school) student essay, rife with unverified speculation and unsupported claims, apparently based on writings a half-century ago by three authors.
• The two links given, for "Encyclopædia Britannica Online. 20 Sept. 2006," go to a Tutt Library information retrieval system at Colorado College and are for all intents and purposes broken, as they are inaccessible to all but "current students, faculty or staff of Colorado College."
• Wikification alone will not help, this piece requires total transformation. For now, stopping just sort of flagging it for deletion, I've added two additional tags: essay-entry & cleanup. Athaenara (talk) 10:41, 13 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

True, I just did a very rough cleanup. While reading through the article, I got the feeling most of this stuff would be found in textbooks. Since there are no references which I could look up directly, I'll reserve comment about whether its verifiable or not. I suggest we do a bit of searching, add in refs for whatever we can find, split the article and add it to its relevant main pages. - xC - | ☎ 04:09, 4 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
