I am assessing this article for WikiProject Schools. Quite a reasonable wikified article with multiple sections with encyclopedic content. For B class - an info-box is needed, more references with in-line citations, and perhaps a bit of a cut down on trivial details of which is only of interest to students. I'm curious, because based on my reading, I don't think this page sounds like an ad. What, specifically, should be changed?

Yes, there are some vague adjectives ("state of the art") and some unnecessary information (the part on mediation comes to mind). There is also a clear fondness for the school's architecture. (How shockingly offensive to the objective observer!) But it is significantly less biased than, say, The Urban School of San Francisco's page, which toots its own horn from the first paragraph.

I don't mean to single out the Urban School's page of course. What I mean is, a high school page is necessarily going to sound like an advertisement--what else could it be? (Having a Wikipedia page automatically implies some sort of significance. That is itself a form of self-aggrandizement.) So if this page is at fault, I would question the wisdom of allowing high school pages in the first place. Firegnome (talk) 19:49, 13 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
