Talk:T. Ramaswamy Choudary

Untitled

I have posted an NPOV notice on the article becaus it seems be overly complementary, with phrases like "great revoloutionary thinker." It may be trure, but it needs to be said in a less POV way. Thanks. -JCarriker 20:36, 16 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Choudhury - incorrect spelling

Choudhury is not a correct Telugu name. This spelling is used for North Indian names.. ex. Choudhury Charan Singh etc. It is also used for some North Indian Muslim names like Saifuddin Choudhury. In Telugu names, it is spelt as Chowdary or Choudary. This article's name needs correction; hence this redirect. __Chaduvari 02:48, 20 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Interestingly, "Tripuraneni Ramaswamy Choudhury" gives 42 hits on google while "Tripuraneni Ramaswamy Chowdary" gives only 27. Both of them are on the lower side, though; Could the spelling be different?? --Gurubrahma 16:24, 20 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
The LOW number of hits reveals Google's limited knowledge about the names of Telugu people. :) __Chaduvari 01:30, 21 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Source

I have authoritative source of his brief biography in Telugu language from Telugu University entitled Ramaswamy Tripuraneni published in 2005. It is Luminaries of 20th Century. Tripuraneni Ramaswamy and Tripuraneni Ramaswamy Chowdary both are same individuals. In Telugu wikipedia, see the spelling as T. Ramaswamy Chowdary in the postal stamp released by Government of India. Supporting British rule

In the article, it is mentioned that "He advocated British Rule is more suitable for India." . I dont see any citations or links supporting that claim. Any proff of that statement would be helpful.
