Idea/suggestion for displaying tribes in "Castaways" section

Hi! I was wondering if it was okay to have all of the members of a tribe displayed together with a merged cell. Of course, once they're voted out, they'd be separated from the rest; and once they merge, they can go separately/alphabetically again.

Having merged cells for tribes while the game is in progress is a big pain in the ass to edit. I recommend keeping them alphabetical, with individual cells until such a point that a merged cell won't be undone by the actions of the game. Bgsu98 (Talk) 21:22, 28 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The edit seems kind of useless no offense because the season will be over in like 3 months. If you want to spend the time to do it then you an edit it. Alexthegreat83 (talk) 18:01, 6 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If it is that big of a problem, why ask for suggestions? 2601:58B:C01:BEC0:B986:53E0:38C0:445E (talk) 12:20, 7 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Episode summaries

Per MOS:TVPLOT, individual episode summaries should be no more than 200 words each. The summary for episode 1 currently clocks in at 519. Bgsu98 (Talk) 20:37, 14 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Live tribal

In the episode 8 summary there was mention of a live tribal. I thought that this was all pre taped unless this is Survivor jargon. (78.19.48.239 (talk) 22:52, 19 April 2024 (UTC))[reply]

Contestants' names

I added Q and Soda's first names based on reliable sources (Soda -> Sodasia "Soda"...; Q -> Quintavius "Q"...)[1], but was reverted by an IP who said in their edit summary that "We've always had a rule of thumb to not include the contestants' legal names if they're not going by it and they're not listed on their profiles." [2]. I'm not aware of any rule or consensus that dictates that the contestants' names must match what's on the CBS website (if there is, please point me to it). I've seen other Survivor seasons where the contestants' names in the tables do not match their CBS profiles, so there's inconsistency with the usage of this "rule of thumb", if there is even one. In addition to those reliable sources, it's not like Q and Soda are hiding their full first names either; they both use their full first names on their own public-facing social media pages (e.g. Twitter, Instagram) when posting about Survivor or interacting with their fans. Episode Summaries, part 2

Just so everyone knows, we don't need sources for the "episode summaries" section. In all the articles I've read for reality television seasons and individual seasons for comedy or drama shows, I have NEVER seen any sources for an episode summary, as the only real source for it would be the episode itself. 2601:14A:8200:5AE0:45D0:1AD7:35CB:6C95 (talk) 00:15, 30 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You are correct. Bgsu98 (Talk) 01:15, 30 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
