Primary topic and the process of becoming a sphere
@Patar knight: Two things: Firstly, sphere doesn't contain the word sphering. Sending readers there, especially as a whole and not to an appropriate section, doesn't seem helpful. Secondly, in regard to the other two entries, Zorbing seems to be the primary topic. Whitening transformation (where sphering transformation redirects) doesn't use the term without "transformation", it may be a partial title match. — Godsy (TALKCONT) 20:35, 27 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
We can assume that readers know what the "-ing" suffix does in the English language, and coupled with the explanation on this page, there's no problem linking them to sphere to explain what spheres are. Googling "sphering" and setting it to a Google Books/Scholar search and the extensive use of it in scientific/mathematical cases in the sense of things becoming spheres, would show that there is there is no primary topic. As for Whitening transformation, both our article and the previous Books/Scholar search make it clear that the process is often just commonly referred to without "transformation" attached. ---- Patar knight - chat/contributions 20:42, 27 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Patar knight: After doing some deeper reading regarding mathematical whitening/spearing, I concur on that front. I actually think a case could be made for "Whitening (transformation)", or something of that nature (i.e. a disambiguated title), as the title for that content.
