This whole article needs to be rewritten to make it NPOV. I am goin to add POV check here Bharatveer

who will talk about the cost increased due to narmada bachao andolan. One should make thread regarding the project cost increased in nintes due ti court cases and medha patkat association.

Figures provied here are really need to check. May be this is only provided by naramda bachao andolan and medha patkar ,and its may be really far from reality

This article needs to be re-written in better English. It's terribly written as is, to the point that comprehension is difficult.

Some edits have taken place to this already-challenged article. A couple of IPs have engaged in wholesale removal of content, to the point where the article was nothing but a list of benefits. That cannot be. I have restored most of that content and have made some stylistic edits. The article needs more sources, no doubt, but it also needs editors who are willing to choose objectivity over some particular point of view. Drmies (talk) 05:48, 14 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I just tagged the article for better references, because the entire section on the benefits of the dam is based on the supreme court judgement, which is hardly appropriate. The impact assessment in 1990 would be a far better source. Vanamonde93 (talk) 23:48, 15 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If the largest concrete dam by volume was in New Zealand, we'd mention it too. When any structure is second to another, it's always worth it to list the first or link to a list of the largest.
