It doesn't make sense. Salaar is not in KGF universe. One example is Garuda. KGF happens in 1970s and Garuda could be 40 years old. If it is Garuda in Salaar, then he should be 60 as Salaar happens in the 1990s. Also Eashwari Rao is Farman's mother. Salaar is a KANNADA film because it is from maker's of KGF and KGF is KANNADA film.so SALAAR is a KANNADA film only leading actor is from telugu

I've no idea how reliable the following are for Indian cinema releases. [2] teqip states bilingual, Kannada and Telugu but also states 5 languages. I assume this means bilingual - Kannada and Telugu then dubbed with other languages.

[3] states various languages without specifics.

[4] states Telugu but further down states Telugu and Kannada

[5] states Kannada and Telugu with Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam dubbing.

[6] states bilingual, Telugu and Kannada.

There are more websites so this is just an example.

Salaar is kannada and Telugu language

The "Filming" section of this article says that Salaar was shot using Dark Centric Theme technology. Even though Indian entertainment websites have reported about it, no such thing called Dark Centric Theme technology actually ^[1]exists. Kindly remove that part of the article. @DareshMohan: Fylindfotberserk and I were discussing the same. This could be well be another Thalapathy 66 situation. We have come across cases where even officially announced bilinguals (like Mahanati) later turned out to be dubs, and there's no announcement in this case. They are right. None of the South Indian movies on Wikipedia follow the traditional "Reliable" sources as Pinkvilla or Bollywood Hungama because such sources are mainly for Bollywood movies. For instance, look at the KGF 2 box office numbers, all the sources provided are considered "unreliable" yet no one changed. Why is Salaar being treated differently?
