WorldCat. Widely held enough? Together with what @No Great Shaker IDed at ANI, I think it merits AfD at least. StarMississippi 12:28, 4 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Easily achievable reviews
It is claimed that reviews of works by Truax are easily obtainable. I would hope that means someone soon puts them on the article.John Pack Lambert (talk) 17:26, 7 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Nominating a page for deletion without performing basic WP:BEFORE is inappropriate and suggests bad faith. If you'd like to help improve the encyclopedia, you can check the likely sources (e.g. Kirkus Reviews and Publishers Weekly) yourself and add the reviews you find. You could also do a Google Scholar search for her name and you'd immediately find reviews in the American Historical Review, the Journal of American History, the Bulletin of Friends' Historical Association, The New England Quarterly, and The American Journal of Public Health. I didn't have to hunt for these at all: they're literally the top hits. pburka (talk) 18:28, 7 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, Pburka. The basic refs I found on Google took literally seconds to see, though I did spend a bit more time improving the article. This has come up at ANI where there are serious concerns about JPL's competence. I'm not sure if I would accuse him of bad faith, however, as incompetence is a different failing.
