Talk:Philip Kantoff

Member Association of American Physicians (AAP)

Hello Boghog, I see we cannot add this to the award section. Can we add it as a sentence to the career section? Concept: Kantoff is a Member of the Association of American Physicians (AAP) https://medicine.weill.cornell.edu/sites/default/files/2020arfull.pdf page 26 --Chefmikesf (talk) 21:42, 9 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

After looking at this more closely, I now see that the Association of American Physicians is an honorary society whose members are elected. Hence I have changed my mind and think "elected to the Association of American Physicians in 2018[1]" should be added to the award section. Boghog (talk) 05:03, 10 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Add links to the Infobox

Hi GregorB, Do you think we could add the three links above to the Alma mater section of the Infobox?--Chefmikesf (talk) 19:56, 21 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! Should be OK, albeit if I'm not mistaken #1 and #3 need refs (College of Brown University is already referenced in the article body). GregorB (talk) 13:34, 26 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

No problem! This article states his hometown and also states he went to Brown for both undergrad and medical school. How does this work? [2]

Minor factual updates

Hi Boghog and Filetime, Thank you for your help on the article so far, I had 3 additional update to bring the article to a more accurate entry.

1. Consider updating the Website. Dr. Kantoff is not associated with MSKCC anymore. The link is dead.

Add: | website = Convergent Therapeutics

2. The statement is incorrect: Kantoff had previously joined the Convergent board of directors in 2018.[9]

Content Therapeutics is a different company. The statement should read: In 2018, Kantoff became an independent director at Context Therapeutics.[3]

3. Consider adding an external links section to the article.

== External Links ==

  • Docetaxel Plus Androgen Deprivation Therapy in Prostate Cancer
  • A multidisciplinary approach to advanced disease
  • Convergent Therapeutics
