The Saltscapes article about his current life as a gallery owner appears to carry a subtext that Peter Blais and Tom Alway are a couple, without explicitly stating that. So at this time I do not know whether or not Blais belongs in categories like Category:Canadian gay actors, Category:Canadian gay artists, Category:20th-century Canadian LGBT people or Category:21st-century Canadian LGBT people.
