I have tagged this page with {{pov}} and {{unreferenced}} because it includes language such as "PLU has a strong communications department". If the communications department is strong, one should easily be able to provide examples of awards or something notable accomplished by the department. Then one would not need to state that it was strong, but rather it would already by implied by the well-written article. Also, there are zero references which is unacceptable. Lastly, I removed intramural sports because they are not notable. If maybe PLU has intramural sports that most schools dont, or something about its intramural sports make them worthy of being in an encyclopedia, then they could be included. --DerRichter (talk) 18:22, 8 February 2008 (UTC)

This page is lacking in content and references. Over the next few weeks I will be doing a complete overhaul of the page including adding sections and removing unimportant passages. PLU is a fine institution and deserves a better page. (Chilcokr (talk) 09:39, 1 February 2012 (UTC))

• Support. A short list that can easily (and appropriately) be incorporated into the main. Presidency of any university is surely an honor, but a separate article (really a list) is unwarranted. --Animalparty! (talk) 00:16, 2 November 2015 (UTC)
• Support. I'm not hugely knowledgeable about the Pacific Lutheran University, but I would assume that employees of a company should be part of a company's page (with some exceptions, but this shouldn't be one of those exceptions).Schuddeboomw (talk) 15:11, 11 February 2016 (UTC)

Similarly, the page for Pacific Lutheran University Crew should be merged with this page.
