Talk:Mike Galanos

Current position

mike galanos is a pundit and not a journalist. this should be noted by those who know how to properly edit an article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.132.164.176 (talk) 18:06, 12 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'd be interested in serious discussion about the Positions tab, seeing that it has been edited and deleted by people in the past. Mr. Galanos clearly is making his name by interjecting his own views in the Prime News segment, which generally IS agreed upon to have a right-wing bias (do a google search or look on some CNN archives.) I think it should be noted here, but how to do it in a non-inflammatory and somewhat objective fashion could be debated. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.77.109.178 (talk) 00:31, 24 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Mike Galanos is no longer the host of "Prime News". He can still be seen on HLN from 12-4pm. Vinnie Politan has taken over Mr. Galanos' position on Prime news. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.128.58.34 (talk) 02:48, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I've toned down the language under the "Current Position" tab ("Galanos frequently doesn't follow . . ." became "His critics feel Galanos frequently doesn't follow . . ."). I admit I can't cite any critics; however, it did seem to be a way to restore some sense of neutrality. Also cleaned up grammatical errors. Would be interested in what you think. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Agwhitter (talkcontribs) 20:38, 29 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

removing POV tag with no active discussion per Template:POV

I've removed an old neutrality tag from this page that appears to have no active discussion per the instructions at Template:POV:

This template is not meant to be a permanent resident on any article. Remove this template whenever:
  1. There is consensus on the talkpage or the NPOV Noticeboard that the issue has been resolved
  2. It is not clear what the neutrality issue is, and no satisfactory explanation has been given
  3. In the absence of any discussion, or if the discussion has become dormant.

Since there's no evidence of ongoing discussion, I'm removing the tag for now. If discussion is continuing and I've failed to see it, however, please feel free to restore the template and continue to address the issues. Thanks to everybody working on this one! -- Khazar2 (talk) 02:44, 27 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
