- The genetics section is a great addition. More details on the genome structure or specific genes belonging to the Micromonas sp. could be included. Is there a genome map (that could be included as well)?

- Are they mainly located in the Arctic? You mention "oceanic and coastal regions" but not a latitude range except the Arctic. In the introduction, it says that Micromonas are distributed both in warm and cold waters.

- Is there a density or a certain growth rate associated with their blooms?

- Great section on viral infection

- Great use of the links to other Wikipedia pages

- Is there a diagram available for their light-harvesting apparatus? Is there a certain wavelength at which they harvest light?

- Maybe you could insert a few sentences about their importance in global systems or how they can adapt since they are mixotrophs?

- Can link the types of viruses in your page to other wiki articles.

- Great in-depth description of cellular mechanisms and the use of genetics.

- Is there another source of image for the morphology of Micromonas other than a drawing? Microscope image?

- A list of Micromonas species with links to other pages could be interesting.

- In the intro, maybe consider talking about the genus as a whole before jumping into specific species. In the discovery section, can you add where/how they were discovered? Under cell morphology- watch your grammar; "that do not have a cell wall". Under cell growth and division-, is carbon content considered a optical characteristic? Under Light-harvesting- maybe reword, Micromonas are in the class Mamiellophyceae so it would make sense that they share the same photosynthetic pigments if thats a feature of that whole class. Under metabolic engineering- check grammar- "recent research are" -> "recent research shows" Overall- very good, neutral, well supported article. Good referencing related pages. Unbiased. Only thing is really making sure to talk about genus and not too focused on Micromonas pusilla. Jackiebuchanan (talk) 03:29, 14 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Is there a history to the name Micromonas and is there a meaning behind it? Any interesting genes in the genome that we should be aware of? Is there any other information to elaborate on the metabolic engineering? Cellular mechanisms section is well written. - I think that the introduction would make more sense if it focused on the genus a little more and M. pusilla was described a little later on. Also I would suggest to either expand the discovery section to include some information on the genus in general or specify in the heading that its specific to M. pusilla. I feel like the beginning of the page is heavily focused on M. pusilla and the rest of the page talks more about Micromonas in general. - Some sections could use more references
- Good use of recent information and including what is still being studied
- Some grammatical errors throughout such as in the Metabolic engineering section
- Interesting section with application to modern science
- Seems to be more emphasis on M. pusilla compared to other species
