Dedication and invocation

Soundtrack: Jefferson Airplane's 'White Rabbit (song)'
"For the most part rules are established for the unruly and the unaware. Be mindful in mindlessness and succumb not to the lure of the subtle formative substantiality of vows and rules and the tyrrany of volitional mind and the boon-bane of conceptuality."

--- I'm very surprised to read that Longchenpa is 'author' or the Kunjed Gyalpo and would be eager to read any citations substantiating this claim

Caveat lector re: Germano (1992: p.3) citation

Caveat lector: This is a worked quotation: the Christocentric "AD" was iterated to the inclusive non-partisan "CE"; the hybridized non-standard development of the former scholastic standard Wylie transcription system capitalizing enunciated syllables/phonemes and backgrounding non-vocalized etymological roots employed by Germano was iterated to the Extended Wylie Transcription System (EWTS) favoured by Wikipedia and English peer-review literature; and metatext/hypertext embellishment and augmentation maximizing the interactive digital medium from the print media source was employed in contravention of Wikipedia guidelines that favour replication of a direct quotation with felicity. Missing info

No reference that I can see to Stéphane Arguillère's work - especially his blog on Longchenpa. I would have thought it was essential reading. Cheers. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cem-uk (talkcontribs) 12:33, 15 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Neutral Tone? Nope.

This article is written from a devotional/canon perspective that does not fit wikipedia's standards of neutral/academic tone. I.E. constant quotations around "death" and insistence on referring to Longchenpa's parinirvana, having a laudatory tone, etc.

As a Nyingmapa I may be inclined to believe this myself, but on wikipedia we had better speak in lay terms. The quotations also convey some self-importance and in my opinion, seem obnoxious.

Any qualms about me editing this up? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nilasarasvati (talk • contribs) 18:16, 21 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
