Not Appropriate for WikiProject Military history

I initially thought people who wrote about military history were appropriate for WikiProject Military history but that appears to be incorrect. I'll remove the reference to this project in the talk page. I'll also remove the request for deletion as I believe the article is still notable. The same appears to be true for WikiProject Aviation, so I removed the template for that project as well. Skeet Shooter (talk) 13:39, 26 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
G'day Skeet Shooter. You're not getting the impression that there might be a question about her notability now that two large Wikiprojects have stated she doesn't meet their notability guidelines? Peacemaker67 (send... over) 21:52, 26 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Peacemaker. No, I didn't get that impression. I thought the issue was meeting the criteria for a specific WikiProject. When I looked at the notability guidelines you pointed me to, I thought the issue was that the subject of the article had not served in the military and so was unsuitable for the WikiProject Military history. Similarly, the subject is not a pilot, so I removed the article from WPAVIATION on my own. Someone from the California WikiProject added their template, so I assumed that editor thought the subject was notable. The subject is the author of two books, and I provided multiple references from reliable civilian and military newspapers discussing her work. I thought that met WP:GNP and WP:SPIP. I updated the lead and career sections to strengthen the subject's notability as an author. Skeet Shooter (talk) 00:45, 13 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
