... that George Jenkins(pictured) was described in 1901 as "the happiest, proudest, most important and most worried individual" in Australia, but 90 years later as "a lazy, dictatorial, unctuous opportunist"? Source: Both quoted in https://adb.anu.edu.au/biography/jenkins-sir-george-henry-28235
Length, date, hook, image, qpq, close paraphrase checks out. --Soman (talk) 00:33, 21 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@ITBF and Soman: there's close paraphrasing in this article which should be resolved before promotion.--Launchballer 15:57, 4 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I'm looking at the Earwig tool. There is the wording " which was widely seen as a promotion" which could be too close paraphrase, but otherwise seems ok. --Soman (talk) 16:30, 4 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I was also thinking "1887, Jenkins married Caroline Kent" and "He died in Colombo on 18 July 1911".--Launchballer 16:40, 4 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
