Whilst true, it should also be added that the Fante's (specifically Mankessim's) politics were more strictly militaristic , with Asafo companies dominating politics. Funnily enough, the person who wrote this failed to mention that rivalries between Asafo companies was one of the greatest reasons (if not THE greatest reason) why the Fante could not unify like the Asante 2A00:23C7:B698:5701:A43F:5673:B163:E879 (talk) 00:16, 14 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
