Talk:Daughters of Cacophony

untitled

As to importance, I looked at things like a hierarchy as the article said to do- Vampire: The Masqurade (top), Clans in V:TM (high), Bloodlines in V:TM (Mid). As the Daughters of Cacophony is a bloodline and in V:TM bloodlines are considered more a minor detail/tool to fill in blanks, it's mid.

This article really could use more information, though. There are a few decent books about the Daughters of Cacophony, perhaps there's something about lineage, history, famous members (in-game), or other notable information in them?

Notability Explanation and Disagreement about Merging and / or Deletion

The "Clans" in Vampire are equivalent to the character classes in Dungeons and Dragons, they are NOT just a story element. As wiki deems fit to allow the character classes of Dungeons and Dragons to have their own articles (Bard (Dungeons & Dragons), etc), there is no reason why the "character classes" of another exceedingly popular pen-and-paper RPG are not notable enough to have their own articles. Even more so since they ARE both Character Classes AND major elements of the story.

In addition, considering the large amounts of background info and game-based info on each of the clans, it is NOT feasible to merge them all into one article. In fact, if we were to do so the resulting article would be too big and then go against Wiki standards.

Please stop listing all Vampire:The Masquerade articles as non-notable.Flygongengar (talk) 20:33, 11 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Additional Notability

The article describes the bloodline in Vampire: The Masquerade and Vampire: The Eternal Struggle. These are two separate games and and it has references for both. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.190.34.219 (talk) 22:33, 15 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sons of Discord section

Section previously said that the Daughters have always been an all-female bloodline. 2nd Edition Player's Guide says that the bloodline has "a fair number of male members" as well. It is only in Revised that the bloodline purged all male members. Edited to fix this.Wyrdsol (talk) 19:37, 7 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
