Right now, the article doesn't establish the notability of its subject (the biggest claim to fame it seems to make is that one house in the village is on the local register of historic places—not even the national register, the local register) and is seriously lacking in sources (there are two sources, and the second source is questionable, as it doesn't even mention Coopey). I have not nominated the article for deletion yet, because a google search brings up enough hits that I can imagine you can dig up more good sources and assert notability.
