Talk:Brothers (Star Trek: The Next Generation)

Untitled

In the 7th grade I thought it would be amusing to memorize the security code Data spits out. 12 years later and its still stuck in my head. Watching the episode again I took a screen shot of the LCARS screen after he's said it and the computer missed two digits, and adding another. Small blooper, but heh pointing out small technical snafu's is what geeks do. I'd point them out specifically, but then your curiosity would be too easily satisfied. Figure it out! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.98.186.20 (talk • contribs)

automatic recall

"... suggesting a form of automatic recall." This doesn't make sense to me, and Wikipedia doesn't even define "automatic recall." Please restate or explain. --AlanH 21:16, 23 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Transfer to engineering…

“…Captain Picard (Patrick Stewart) orders Data to transfer the controls to Engineering…”. No, he doesn’t - Picard orders Geordi to transfer the helm to engineering, and Geordi acknowledges the command. Presumably he carries out the order, and then Data transfers command back to the bridge again, or over-rides things to make Geordi believe he had carried out the order successfully.
