Talk:British quarrying and mining narrow-gauge railways

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of British quarrying and mining narrow gauge railways's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "7EL":

  • From British narrow gauge slate railways: Bryant, R.S. (ed.) (1987). Industrial Locomotives, including preserved and minor railway locomotives. Industrial Railway Society. ISBN 0901096555. {{cite book}}: |author= has generic name (help)
  • From British industrial narrow gauge railways: Bryant, R.S. (ed.) (1987). Industrial Locomotives, including preserved and minor railway locomotives. Industrial Railway Society. ISBN 0901096555. {{cite book}}: |author= has generic name (help)

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 09:32, 23 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'm impressed you managed to fix the other refs - what a clever little bot you are ;-) Fixed the remaining ref. Still more work to do, to header etc. —  Tivedshambo  (t/c) 10:10, 23 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Discrepancy

British quarrying and mining narrow gauge railways#Tin, lead and zinc, Snailbeach District Railways, 2 ft 3+34 in (705 mm) gauge. The article gives 28. Which one is right? Peter Horn User talk 21:51, 18 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Track gauge question about "Irchester Quarries railway". Any sources?

The 3ft 8 1⁄4in (1,124 mm) of the Irchester Quarries railway is unsourced. Nothing found on the internet. Does anybody have a reliable source for this?--Aaron-Tripel (talk) 15:38, 7 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
