Talk:Blairgowrie and Rattray

Untitled

This article has been vandalised so much it's almost impossible to repair. Mummymonkey 17:25, 21 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I just checked the reference and it doesn't mention Ray Fields saying "It's all in a day's work, baby" anywhere... I'll bet the rest of the page is equally as vandalised. I don't think for an instant that Peter Pan has won the Citizen of the Year award either! 77.99.125.25 (talk) 12:32, 8 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Agree. Sad, this stuff. Why not just revert the lot to the last BlairBEar update? seems sound enough. Nice place, Blairgowrie. to nice to let some dickhead get away with trashing it, even in a trash-hepa like wikipedia. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.254.92.88 (talk) 10:13, 4 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

unsourced, touristy information.

I cut quite a bit of unsourced information which made the article read like a tourist guide. Anyone wishing to add more information, please make sure it is sourced and relevant in terms of an encyclopedia entry. OohBunnies! Leave a message 06:49, 8 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Split

Should Blairgowrie and Rattray be split into separate articles or does Blairgowrie have too much overlap with this? given some maps show "Blairgowrie and Rattray". I have created Draft:Blairgowrie, Perth and Kinross and Draft:Rattray, Perth And Kinross but more content should be moved from here if split. Per WP:GEOLAND its a civil parish and former burgh so is clearly notable. If its though the overlap with Blairgowrie is too great then it could be split to something like Blairgowrie (parish) which could also cover the former burgh. Blairgowrie is on 4[1] of my missing article lists namely User:Crouch, Swale/A-Z Mini, User:Crouch, Swale/A-Z bold places, User:Crouch, Swale/Bot settlements and User:Crouch, Swale/Scottish localities. Rattray is on 2[2] of my missing article lists namely User:Crouch, Swale/A-Z Mini and User:Crouch, Swale/A-Z bold places. There was discussion in 2019 at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Scotland/Archive 13#Dunkeld and Birnam where it was agreed those should be separate. Crouch, Swale (talk) 21:58, 9 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Support They should be separate. Dormskirk (talk) 19:31, 7 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
