Under the current Afghan system, the city of Jalalabad is now a municipality, and the former JBad District (exclusive of the municipal area) is now Bihsud District. Accordingly, the content of Jalalabad District should be folded into this article, and some comment made to indicate that the urbanized area of the district is now a separately-governed municipality.
