Alkaline pasta → Alkaline noodles – "Alkaline noodles" seems to be the WP:COMMONNAME for this dish. (Ngram results can be seen here; see also the disparity in Google Scholar results for "alkaline noodles" vs. "alkaline pasta".) Additionally, this dish appears to be mainly used in East Asian cuisines, whereas the term "pasta" is more affiliated with Italian cuisine instead.
