Taft County (Persian: شهرستان تفت) is in Yazd province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Taft.^[3]

At the 2006 census, the county's population was 45,357 in 13,747 households.^[4] The following census in 2011 counted 45,145 people in 14,325 households,^[5] by which time Garizat Rural District and Kahduiyeh Rural District had been separated from Nir District in the establishment of Garizat District.^[6] At the 2016 census, the county's population was 43,893 in 14,659 households.^[2]
