Sharifabad (Persian: شريف اباد)^[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Sarab-e Olya Rural District of Babaheydar District of Farsan County, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, Iran.^[4] The village is populated by Lurs.^[5]

At the 2006 census, its population was 257 in 50 households, when it was in Mizdej-e Olya Rural District of the Central District.^[6] The following census in 2011 counted 209 people in 53 households,^[7] by which time parts of the rural district had been separated from the district in the establishment of Babaheydar District.^[4] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 175 people in 50 households.^[2]
