Qamsar District (Persian: بخش قمصر) is in Kashan County, Isfahan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Qamsar.[3] A mine in the area has been an important source of cobalt probably since ancient times.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 10,812 in 3,409 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 9,225 people in 3,143 households.[6] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 13,247 inhabitants in 4,653 households.[2]
